TBF he was pretty much the main driving force behind the first album. That's 3 original members dead now, first was Rust Epique in 2004, then DJ AM in 2009, and now Shifty.

Living in a house of LA musicians in the early 90s, in the subsequent decade I was constantly surprised at which of the auditioners / houseguests / party jammers found success. None more than Straight Outta Sherman Oaks.
