Fresh results from another basic income pilot. This one took place in San Antonio, Texas where 1,000 people got a $1,908 payment in Dec 2020, followed by 8 quarterly $400 payments between Apr 2021 and Jan 2023. What happened? Incomes from work went up. That's a commonly observed impact BTW.

This is very true. Everything you want to learn about any art or craft is freely available on YouTube. The problem is, you then have to do the work, which is the sticking point for many.

This is why I can’t read Yellowface yet I am only six months out of that industry 💀

I kept avoiding reading YELLOWFACE because I spent a decade+ working in the publishing industry and I was like, "No, this is going to be too real for me, I can't do it" even though I love love loved BABEL. Any way, Cait Corrain put up an apology this morning admitting she did it all.

Go get yr Covid booster if you haven’t. They’ve (mostly) worked the kinks out now and if you get it soon you’ll be at peak protection for holiday travel and gatherings/the yearly January surge. Studies are showing the booster protects against the current dominant strain!
