I like how Biden does all the things these people demand of him - give a sharp, unscripted press conference, followed by a fiery campaign rally where he prosecutes the case against Trump - and they just rewrite it into a narrative of failure. Acting like this is a large part of the problem
Yes, he confused Putin and Zelensky and Trump and Harris. He also appeared in MI to give a speech with a teleprompter (without the state’s Democratic Gov or Senators) and then went home to his beach house.

What @stephenjudkins.bsky.social wrote nearly two weeks ago rings even more true after Bernie repeatedly spoke out hammering home Biden's successes as a progressive and the importance of his candidacy. Irrespective of how many unscripted press conferences and events he does, some won't ever be happy
perception is reality and i think it is silly to act like it matters whether or not he’s actually senile. every gaffe no matter how minor will be headline news now. very few candidates can survive that kind of coverage and sticking your head in the sand about it seems counterproductive.
And so the obvious follow-up question to this is: do you not believe the media will invent an "emails" narrative for Harris or whoever else might replace Biden? Why do you expect this narrative to be less damaging than the "enfeebled" narrative?
maybe they would! my view is that biden has a 0% chance of winning and harris would be maybe 30%. i’m not psychic and could end up being wrong but it is my sincere belief that she has a better chance.
as far as a non-harris candidate, i’m not a fan of that idea. she has legitimacy as people actually voted for her, i think if you do it, it does have to be her.
