Apparently cloud cover will be dropping to 50% by 3am in DC. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to stay up or wake up before dawn given that city lights will surely drown it out.

If it helps, the skies cleared here in Toronto by about 1245am and there was nothing to be seen by that point.

It was exquisite tonight on the southern tip of lake Michigan... Subtle to the naked eye but the photos really pop! 🌌

I'm in Spain so way too far south. And my window faces south so I can't even see if I can see a glow in the distance squinting.

Alas, a couple states south of the southern edge of the blob AND it's cloudy out.

People are seeing it in Florida. I don't think any state is necessarily too far south.
