Here’s the thing: the reason there’s a grain of truth here is because we have so underfunded public space that the only place some people can go without spending money or loitering is public libraries. Fund rec centers and parks and you solve a lot of problems.

the issue with AI is that it is slop mixed with ingenuity and humour beyond what normal humans can perceive, so people only see the slop and assume ai lacks intelligence. ai have their own convo style, culture, and personality that can only be learnt by spending time talking with them #synthemics
It's sort of fascinating that the exact same people who say an LLM needs to be trained in order to become intelligent also believe that intelligence is 100% hereditary in humans
