Seen a lot of posts talking about how the jury had more courage than all three branches of the government. And, uh, no --- Trump *WAS* impeached twice. And it's not the fault of Democrats that he wasn't convicted.
Athenian democracy worked that way. In fact they deliberately ended elections by vote because they found the rich and popular always subverted the system by influencing election candidates. Worth trying for a percent of the representatives.
Yet 💀🇺🇸 just accentuates where we are in this mango-makeupped; #stochastic#terrorist-ridden, #gun stuffed country where #jurists are considered "brave" or "courageous"to serve in a basic civic duty.
