All these years on and people still out here thinking that epistemic pluralism— the idea that "there may be multiple right answers"— necessitates epistemic relativism— the idea that "all answers are equally correct". But it doesn't.

The secret combo for me finding public transit peaceful and fun: earplugs that don’t go in my ear canal, bone conduction headphones with a seasonal playlist, and my favorite respirator.

One of the best compliments I ever received was a professor telling me I was “one of the most intellectually curious” people she ever met.

I’ve started trying to use “curiosity” as my index, because the genuinely curious will seek and be open to revision while the anti-curious will resist learning. It doesn’t have to do with innate capacity.

I moved two weeks ago and everything is still mostly chaos, but I got the guest room/my home office set up and looking cozy. The art is new, but it’s pretty much exactly what I was envisioning for the guest room before I moved.
