That’s because the right is coming to understand that any war on liberalism in 2024 must by extension be a war on normative human behavior. Their definition of “woke” is gradually converging to encompass basically any normal way that most people exist in society.
I think a lot of this comes down to the Democratic Party’s willingness to subsume any median political viewport, regardless of how the ideologically-driven elements of their coalition feel about it. They do seem to be taking a lot of the oxygen out of room and forcing the GOP to the fringes.
They tried that "4 years ago" bullshit earlier this week with Stefanik, and got rightfully clowned on about it. So they changed it to 3 years ago, and yeah, I'm still doing better.
They don't really need to do responses anymore: the GOP base is locked in and immutable which sucks in that Democrats will never realize this and continue to try and pitch to them.
