I'm not ready to admit defeat; there are plenty of areas of research and development that we have collectively banned for causing more harm than good. But it's a big effort, you can fight for regulations, that's cool. I just want generative AI regulated out of existence.

Nothing beneficial. Only google searches and subreddits drowned and irreversably destroyed by uncanny, generic slop made by hacks with no talent and so little willpower that they're taking these shortcuts to begin with.

Nobody capable of making great works of art will be using AI because they're already putting in the work to be a regular artist, doing their own work.

Honestly, at this point, yeah. AI was really cool until people started getting lazy and greedy with it. Now everyone's flooding the internet and market with shit while acting like it's a replacement for actual people. It's not. AI isn't even close, but you don't have to pay AI a living wage.

I'm good on not allowing grifters the chance to make money off of theft and plagiarism all so they can gain power to influence government. We don't need to tax them out of existence we need to outlaw the use and implementation of certain ai.

Keeps coming back to informed voters and politicians that will enact their will. Too few of the former and seemingly none of the latter. I'd put an artificial intelligence in charge, probably wouldn't bend over for lobbyists.

Not totally against A.I. ART. It gives people that have no artistic ability a way to express what's going on in their heads. But any art that is A.I. generated should be labeled as such.

I hope to see a long term study of devices with software designed to enhance AI features. To see just how often the average consumer is actually engaging with these features. There has been such a rush by big business to make these products but I wonder if actual consumer feedback was considered.
