Watched it on HBO. That's some of the best Sci-Fi I've seen in a while. They hit an excellent mix of interpersonal drama, survivalist adventure, and cyberpunk futurism. Hope Netflix can fish this one out of the WB dumpster before it goes to waste.

It's also just damn *pretty*. The animation reminds me of Felix Colgrave.

I got an Æon Flux vibe. It did a great job of sharpening the divide between the natural and artificial landscapes.

idk if it was the first to do this, but it was officially cancelled on max and was picked up by netflix. however, seeing netflix track record with cancelling shows after 1 season, its not a sure thing that they’ll renew it either

not uncommon for studios (warner especially) to license out the streaming rights to other streamers to make more on it (we see it often with scooby doo) however, in this case, scavenger’s reign was indeed cancelled. which is truly a shame. its an excellent series.

again, not sure if this was the first original to do this. i know that “You” started as like a lifetime show and was picked up by netflix. similarly, disney didnt want to make Spiderman Noir, so sony took it to amazon and it got picked up. nic cage has been cast as spiderman.

In typical Netflix fashion they didn't advertise it at all. I just happened to see it mentioned!

It did a lot of things really well, but one of them was show the beauty of the natural world in a world that isn't ours, while keeping the world really insidiously dangerous.

We've watched the 1st couple of episodes this afternoon. It's beautiful, mind blowing stuff. The perfect example of a show I didn't know I needed in my life until I pressed play.

I loved it, it's an amazing story and everything that you are waiting for from a sci-fi experience. So totally agree with this

I thought this was pretty cool but I much preferred Pantheon (Amazon)

By the way, what did different people call the Hollow (the official name for the creature that controls Kamen). Until I found the official name in the wiki, I called it the "butt monkey", and my son called it a "land orca".

Is it going to be released on Netflix in the whole world? Because I am from Brazil and I wanted to watch it so bad but I can't find Scavengers Reign right now on my Netflix account.

My understanding is that it is just the U.S. right now.
