the most frustrating aspect of this campaign to me is that it has stripped me down to bare pragmatism "does this give us a better chance to beat Trump" is the only thing that is important to me anymore the danger is so overwhelming that nothing else matters and I hate it

I think what's got me the most worried about the supreme court nonsense is how little pushback they've been getting from ANYONE. Like you'd think the public would be complaining more even if the news didn't care

the lack of response and communication from elected officials, about anything, is what frustrates me the most about the current politicians in power. I'm concerned that if they don't start now with calling the court illegitimate, what if Biden wins but the usual 6 declare Trump the actual victor :/

“You’re a lawyer! What does this mean, really?” Man, I don’t fucking know. In the last week an entire area of law I studied was more or less rendered entirely moot and now there’s one specific guy in the whole country who may be able to do anything he wants without recourse. This is kind of new.

tbh I call it a blanket but it's actually a sling that I got to hold my other cat while I was on the computer but it didn't work out lol. So the kitties sleep on it now instead :)
