📢 1.85 is rolling out now (2/6) UI improvements! We’ve been tuning the UI to make it feel better and improve clarity. ✨ We updated the icons on posts. ✨ We improved the post composer on mobile. ✨ Labels on posts now use the avatar of the labeler, making them much visually shorter.

📢 1.85 is rolling out now (3/6) Account deactivation! You can now temporarily deactivate your account. This will take down the profile and all of your content until you decide to resume — which you can do at any time. (You can find this in your Settings page.)

Takes them way to long. Every time something big happens you have to go to the other place to see what's up. Keeps me actively away from Bluesky sadly.

Bluesky development is light years compared to twitter. Do you realize how many years it took for twitter to develop those features? Stop pretending Bluesky advertised it as a fully functional twitter alternative. People assigned them that label, and they’re kindly working towards it.

It 2024, not 2003. You can rent server capacity at will nowadays. That wasn't the case back then. And nowadays most people do have high speed internet, something that wasn't the case in that time. They simply lose a lot of users due to this. I can't change it.

I want to be able to save drafts of posts. Even if only stored locally on the device. Please 🥺

I really appreciated the Twitter feature, to select an account to retweet a tweet - if you use more than one account in the app. This is a useful feature, if you have seperated timelines along different topic (e.g. soccer account vs. political account)... 🙏🏼

I've just updated and I've lost the ability to search my media folders - I can only see Google images but nothing else...

The Bluesky team have started work on a native iPad version, but they have a packed roadmap so it might be a while before it's available In the meantime, you might want to have a look at @skeetsapp.com and @graysky.app, both of which work well on iPad and have some nice extra features 👌
