Hear me out: as for "us", we didn't choose this economic or political system and many of us didn't choose these officials. It's not like we had some opportunity to stop it and selfishly ignored it.
I get what you might be going for: that each of us bears a social responsibility to help each other, especially those suffering.
Collective action is hard and complicated. I just wouldn't collectively blame everyone for not yet solving a problem they didn't cause and individually can't fix.
I'm definitely hoping that someone thinks of something, because I don't have an effective action plan and my shitty body isn't affecting much either. Definitely wishing I could do more for people suffering than complaining about it on the Internet. 🥺
