If Biden passed the torch to Harris, I think the process could be relatively smooth & would likely light a fire of enthusiasm & relief through the entire party.
That's why there's so much urgency to make the switch before the convention. That way there's not a damn thing they can do, it's a convention vote like any other.
I agree that we simply don't need to make it *easier* for the Republicans to ratfrak the election, and they will certainly give it a try if Biden were to get out or be pushed out.
The 5th Circuit and the SC are their tools, not neutral arbiters of justice.
