Nothing like having the power out during a heat wave to remind you that both you and your 4yo are not built to sleep in 89F temps...and to put all those fall scent candles to good work. Oncor got the power back on ~11 hours later (around 4:30am), which I guess will make me the nap queen today.

My husband just told me he never thinks of me as heavily tattooed, but today I look heavily tattooed. I haven’t gotten any new tattoos since January. Is this like the tattoo version of noticing a haircut a week late? 😂🤷🏼‍♀️
