My dad got a couple 4-month-old goats last week to help keep the blackberries in the field below his house under control, and just happened to go out on his deck to catch a doe paying them a visit.

So I'm imagining the the Continental hotel for hit men from "the World of John Wick" but everyone there is an FBI agent or informant.

From McGovern’s autobiography, “Grassroots” McG was talking about the corruption of the Nixon administration for months, culminating in the third of his 30-minute broadcast ads in late October, which expanded on the topics of his speech to the UPI editors early in the month.

I don't know…a post exclaiming "Here's some worms to celebrate" next to a picture of John Roberts seems more or less on the nose.

Had company last night; kittens disappeared into basement. Wife and friend went out into the backyard for a bit; I stayed in to see how long it would take for cats to show up, then went into office. Few minutes later, I hear crash, come out to find tulips and water on ground. Have not found vase.

Yay, Ticketmaster…so glad to know the exorbitant fees I pay the few times I buy a ticket to something aren't enough to keep my data from being stolen. It's like paying hundreds of dollars a year to a company for a phone line that's mostly used by people to call me with scams!

If you open the photo in a new window it's pretty clear there's no wiper visible. You can see the gaps between the light elements and the reflection wraps around the side of the truck where the windshield ends. Wipers could just be recessed below the hood. Or they could laser the rain away!

I looked pretty closely from a couple of angles; I think it's just a reflection of the lights and the rigging for the lights above. Here's another angle from the slideshow in the article:
