What's weird about this is the choice of book. Like blinkist or whatever works not too bad because it's mostly nonfiction. Conversely you could see it working for like shakespeare, or even like war and peace. Great Gatsby is like bottom of the list. 2 1
The more I think about this. You could argue a case for this kind of thing for up to basically prewar literature, making great Gatsby one of the first great pieces of literature this really shouldn't be used for.
It's for people who read Wodehouse for the plot. 1 2
