Picked up some farmers market tomatoes today for caprese sandwiches Other no-cook meal ideas welcome, our AC can’t keep up if we use the stove

These are the days for no-cook meals. Tonight it’s charcuterie and watermelon salad. Fresh mint but I subbed cotija for the feta cheese.

Don't waste time arguing with unserious people. There are plenty of productive ways to advocate for better land use in Alexandria.

When I asked if there was a kids meal version of the all-you-can-eat crab legs, the waiter looked at my 4 year old and said, “she’s small, she probably won’t eat much.” So he let us share one adult meal and then she ate like five clusters.

The anti housing people are definitely not winning. The most anti people in Alex did the worst for Mayor and Council. Charlotte stayed away from a big focus on being against things and had a strong personal story…so her performance is an outlier. Voters here are smart and caring. It’s nice.
