when you’re walking around an area that has some history and they replace the floor or the sidewalk with a big glass pane so you can see what used to be under there??? baby that’s ALWAYS good

i'm making a map of all the plaques in the state to make sure i don't miss out on any

Every plaque should have the directions to the next nearest plaque *~~~~~*~~~~~*~~*~~~* If I can’t get lost following those like a rabbit trail I don’t want it

I do love an interpretive plaque! I read them ALL!

Plaques are like footnotes on real life, and you bet I read all the footnotes

There is no law that can stop you from reading all the signage you encounter in a public area.

Feb 2020, my daughter and I went on a quest in the Boston Theater District to find this plaque. (The plaque is a block away from the actual site)

Last trip we drove, there was a historical marker for the town we were coming up to, and it was simply near the side of I-90 (or 80 maybe) with no good place to stop, so all I could see as we zoomed on by was that it rated a paragraph of text. Good to know, really good.
