The weird thing about this take is like...the Soviets could have been leaders in non-representational art! They had Wassily Kandinsky and by all accounts I've read just rejected his style - but the potential of the movement was clear then!

Saw someone on here blame the CIA for abstract expressionism the other day. And of course they were responsible for “the ‘60s” via MKULTRA. Really pretty amazing how powerful the CIA was!

I'd love to see a poll ask "does the U.S. have troops in Ukraine and/or Israel" right now. If you consume a certain type of clickbait media you've been told that Lloyd Austin is about to send troops to Kiev like 20 times.

My current media peeve is describing Biden as a “wartime president” or America being in multiple wars. We’re not in any wars! After a very long time of being at war, now we are not!
