I know she stopped posting due to personal stuff a while back, but this moment is SCREAMING for Ashley Feinberg and her particular set of skills
JD Vance is *exceptionally* likely to have a trail of forum posts and tweets somewhere and finding that would be a great service to the Republic

HOLD UP. Are you saying Sam Altman bought a massively overpriced property which turned out to be hiding massive structural flaws? Whose seller blithely dismissed significant construction problems? Whose most ostentatious features were the ones that ended up causing the most damage? Interesting.

Cops want Cybertrucks. They serve no practical purpose and are an irresponsibly expensive misuse of taxpayer funds that have sacrificed much more beneficial public services…but cops don’t care about the communities they serve. www.404media.co/email/746a69...

Apologies in advance for what might look like a rambling diatribe going nowhere. But the one thing I know really well - better than almost anyone else - is boxing. And there’s a really valuable lesson from boxing that the Democratic Party needs to learn in a hurry. Let’s start with the boxing bit.

you read through story this and at no point does the author try to balance their claims with, you know, actual reality or context, or even a fleeting mention of the fact the guy they're actually supporting is a criminal racist sociopath looking to dismantle the pillars of democracy

At the beach earlier I got knocked over by a huge wave and hit my head hard on the rocks then got held under by the riptide for 4 minutes straight without oxygen to my brain. Now what's this I hear about there being Republicans who are pro-labor that the left should find common cause with?

it's my absolute favorite holiday of the year when the entire U.S. news industry turns itself into a giant blogspam affiliate for a single massive billionaire-owned retailer with absolutely nobody in any position of editorial authority thinking that's in any way unethical or gross

maybe i'd feel differently if i was the axios business editor (lol), but if i were reporting this news i wouldn't use a sympathetic frame ("investing in their book") or concede the premise that this choice is (or even could be) made agnostic of other aspects of trump's platform

Remember, if the government can obtain a conviction against Bob Menendez for taking bribes and stuffing gold bars into his closet that he was given for working on behalf of a foreign government, there's nothing stopping them from indicting you for the same thing.
