Welp. I’m officially retired from the University of California now. On to many, many other things now — a lot more freelance work. I expected to have mixed feelings today, but instead I have absolutely zero regrets.

The Eclipse Twins, 'Bronto' and 'Rex' at Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose, TX, which was in the path of totality today. We were there a few weeks ago walking along the Paluxy River, site of some really impressive fossilized dinosaur tracks (which we couldn't see because the river was high😢).
