new death metal band name just dropped

This weekend's bake was a chocolate cheesecake. Funny that the part I thought would be easy turned out to be fidgety (crust and filling), and the part I thought would be harder (ganache and whipped cream piping) turned out to be pretty easy. Bake had some issues, but the taste is great.

Pain au chocolat this morning. Got one tray a little crispy figuring out the correct oven temp.

New recipe for the weekend: raspberry-almond scones, sans almond. Because somebody forgot to put on the slivered almonds. 😅
