I’ve been meaning to show this dwarf umbrella tree to y’all for a while now but it is so weird looking and not particularly pretty and there hasn’t been a reason until now
That kind of variegated pigmentation is usually a response to light exposure. If it was in a shadier spot, it'd be greener, but it doesn't need all that chlorophyll.
I mean, I did say usually... ;)
But also light can be reflected at it and it may not be in shade most of the day. I don't know. That's just generally how that particular plant colouring functions.
