I understand the sentiment but there are far larger structural issues at play both in terms of media and politics. Fascism is at the core of the American project as it is any settler colonial state and the contradictions have just been sharpening for so long that things like Twitter are a symptom.

I’ve said this a million times, but I’m genuinely frightened about what Musk’s fascist propaganda network is doing to do to our politics. I really wish someone, anyone, would come up with a collective strategy to get journalists, organizers and elected officials off the platform.
