a good michelada is truly a blessing

I ordinarily have absolutely no use for either American "light" beers OR Mexican yellow beers, but they can all be redeemed by transforming them into micheladas.

american light beers and mexican yellow beers are both good for the same thing: drinking in the hot sun in the summer

There's a very light pilsner that the Czechs traditionally made for glassblowers to drink while working, and it's SUCH a nice summer beer.

Can also both be improved by judicious application of lime.

Lagers in general, imo.

There's nothing wrong with a good old fashioned, ice cold, union-made American macrobrew, and I'll fight every last beer nerd in Portland if necessary.

If it's served by a local, it's local.

Also a fine choice for radlers Although it was only after I brewed a few batches of beer that I realized that "light beer" is actually insanely hard to make because any impurity will show up (I never tried but the literature is basically like "don't even try making it yourself it'll be awful")
