I'm sure a good UI is at least half of the work of this feature, but it would be really cool to integrate this into Bluesky proper.

I get what you’re saying, but part of the whole fun/point of ATProto is there’s no such thing as “Bluesky proper” except in terms of a microblogging site. It will be be able to to do a kajillion durable things but many of them won’t be in the Bsky space- simply on the protocol.

Absolutely, yeah. But in this case I think what makes it a killer app is to be integrated in the microblogging application developed by Bluesky itself ("Bluesky proper"). In other cases maybe not so much.

I think that, when the motto is "Audio communication for Bluesky", something about that does fall in there. Though I agree not everything should be just "on Bluesky" and should just enjoy the intercommunication.

It’s a nice start but as long as you can’t stream conversations with other Bluesky users but only your own monologue, this is very limited. Further I generally think you need the option to integrate apps directly into the Bluesky app, otherwise the barrier is to high for most users for those apps.

I feel like the problem with some features in Bluesky is that they're not being integrated within the app itself. This and post translations being prime examples

What I mean with translations is that instead of the translation showing up in a little section below the text, it's intead made in a different tab in Google Translate that opens up which makes it a bit inconvienient and annoying compared to what Twitter does

This post confuses me. It's a translation of a post by @so-asano.com, but it reads like the official Blue Sky account said "We have released..." on the official Blue Sky account.

The translation is in quotes, to say that it's not something that Bluesky has made.

Yes, I put it in quotes to indicate I was translating the post I re-posted, but I can see how that could be missed. Will make this more clear in the future — Bluecast was built by independent Japanese devs
