Looks like Jontay Porter will enter a guilty plea on July 10.
There’s a waiver of indictment, and Porter will be charged in an “information” instead, which is what typically happens when a suspect expects to plead guilty at the onset of the case.

The decision to open the pod bay doors will be based entirely on a Reddit post from 2017.

This was posted in a Brooklyn-bound A-Train. Looks like this guy is looking for “highly attractive” female friends with benefits. “Be for real/Pornstars are also welcomed… Strippers included” (I’ve blurred out his cell phone #)

Does the Citizens United decision mean the Fecal Soup is a person?

Going forward, the only debates I want to see in 2024 are Richie and Carmy yelling at each other about “Vibrant Collaboration.”

The best part about covering the Brooklyn courts, and about being on vacation this week, is that I do not have to and will not watch this debate live. Godspeed to those of you who do, and I hope your therapy is in-network.

The internet is only forever if you're an individual person who once had a deeply embarrassing or shameful moment. Otherwise, the internet gets cleaned out like a week-old unopened bag of lettuce.
One of the interesting things about the Internet is that we’re actually living through a dark age. Future historians are unlikely to have records of this period. Paper and ink last. Digital storage, less so. variety.com/2024/tv/news...

Oh, good. Another attempt at using AI to litigate. This one is (thank GOD) hypothetical. But let's see how it does. To put it differntly: Does Daniel know what he's talking about, or is he a tech dude in desperate need of a sense of humility and an understanding of his own limitations? Thread.
Is ChatGPT or other similar technology useful for law? Probably. Here's a hypothetical legal and use case.

This is an eye-opening, important piece of journalism by 404 Media.
"flooding the internet with an infinite amount of what could pass for journalism is cheap and even easier than I imagined, as long as I didn’t respect the craft, my audience, or myself."

As I watch the latest House of the Dragon, I ask myself — does any character say or do anything that is not directly related to advancing or explaining the plot? Does no one have any outside interests?

Glad to play a role in telling this story. Pulling back the curtain a bit, we learned of Mr. Pierce's death while tracking the murder rate in the 73 Pct. I noticed the PD stats showed more murders this year than the ones publicized, and asked what was missing. www.nydailynews.com/2024/06/23/b...

A moment in Game of Thrones that everyone forgets about because of all the other terrible stuff is when that knight guy got the incurable stone skin disease that turns you into a spooky monster man but then the chubby library guy goes theres a book that says to rub some stuff on it, that’s the trick
