Just watched "I Saw the TV Glow" and I'm so excited about the new wave of trans stories that are reclaiming stuff like "Buffy" and Harry Potter and turning it back into the dark magical transformative shit we loved before realizing ... well, everything

The informal neighborhood fireworks displays in San Francisco get bigger and more impressive every year. Tonight we saw dozens of shows all over the city with fireworks that easily rivaled the fancy ones that the city launches over the Bay. The beauty/danger vibe was very on brand for San Francisco.
