There's a "view from nowhere" version of impartiality that's baked into the genes of the US mainstream press, and it's requiring greater and greater bits of acrobatics to sell the illusion of normalcy. To the point where the cognitive dissonance is unavoidable.
I will never forget 9/11, when what appeared to be two airliners appeared to collide with the twin towers, which then appeared to collapse. Was it cause and effect? Did it even happen? What is the “I” remembering this? Sadly our senses and thoughts are unreliable.
American journalism school... Not that anybody who goes to one these days find any jobs.
But from what I understand they really drill the impartiality thing into you. Tell you your entire career depends upon it. that you can never talk about who you voted for or what you volunteered for.
Someone needs to sit Mr. Robinson down and explain to him that carrying on like the reddest of rednecks does NOT guarantee him a seat on the 'whites only' lifeboat. C.C.: Tim Scott / Byron Donald
Wow... that's a case of "Let Me Be Your Biggest Cheerleader for Killing OTHERS So You Won't Kill Me"... and of course, the very moment he's not useful anymore, They'll kill him.
I’m. I really, really want to agree with him on those words. I really want to.
(I also really hope I’m wrong about his chances of being governor because that is the absolute last thing this state needs.)
And they still call them "republican" or "conservative"!?? Like they are outright stating they want to kill, imprison and ban everything that doesn't agree with them personally...let's call a spade a spade, it's FASCISM.
If only there were a way to understand the context of his words, maybe we could tell if he was just joking or being completely serious.
Maybe we should get AI on that. I hear it does all sorts of amazing things...
