I get why people have concerns about Biden and I am not without concerns myself.
But I just fundamentally do not think you can have a functional democracy, or expect good outcomes, if you have a news media that applies such wildly divergent standards to the two candidates.
An interesting question is why journalists don't see Donald Trump's command of the issues as relevant to the question of which candidate's mental acuity should be centered in media coverage of the campaign.
But the media gets their nose out of joint when we beg them to talk about trump’s record (and mental health) as vociferously as they are attacking the president. 🙄
There really ought to be a big gaggle of reporters following all of these heritagereich people around asking them to explain these specific policies. Mics in their faces non-stop.
Unfortunately many news/people and government orgs will only post there (and on facebook, but seriously, who uses facebook.) We know threads is a bust, but I’d like to see more of those types of content providers post here.
Good lord if you talked about what a trump presidency would mean and the fact he’s literally a felon and rapist as much as you’ve flooded the zone with this crap, trump wouldn’t be an issue.
I’m beyond shocked at how you’ve pummeled Biden for one event, and still not called for a convicted felon and lifelong fraud to step down. It’s ridiculous.
The political class is stunned. The rest of us shrugged and went about our day. You might want to talk more about project 2025 and the insane scotus instead.
I would be exceptionally disappointed to learn that tears for fears in any way approved of using their song for this dreck. But I doubt they had any say.
Very dependent on group dynamics. The loud can drown out the wise. The men tend to belittle the women’s’ opinions, etc. Think of the longest work meeting you’ve ever been in.
Most major news organizations don’t even report on his terrifying agenda. Idk if they think it’s hyperbole (incorrectly) or if they truly want that kind of chaos for ratings. Either way, it needs to end.
