These fools just love an absolute monarchy

It says a lot about the right wing's political project that they have as a speaker a deposed would-be monarch (the last son of the Shah of Iran) who wants to restore the Iranian monarchy. (Note: this is in no way of an endorsement of the awful people who did the deposing).

I realize he has said some nice things about democracy, which is lovely, but created a self-styled government-in-exile that puts him at the top, and calls himself a crown prince.

I have no idea the best path re Biden but I do know a solid week straight of “Biden Old” and “Rich Dems Worried” above-the-fold stories are *obscene* in the face of SCOTUS using the Constitution to wipe their asses purely in the service of reinstating a felon rapist as president. Crazy-making shit.

Weird* how he didn’t call for such punishment for those who violently stormed the seat of American government to try to stop the Constitutionally mandated transfer of power after a free and fair election *weird, but not surprising

I think this is the first time Musk has suggested fellow Americans should be executed.

The great thing about America today is that you don’t get punished, much less executed, for failing to support the policy initiatives of political leaders. Maybe Musk has been spending too much time hanging out with the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party
