I completely stopped working as a florist ten years ago and oddly don’t get much pleasure arranging flowers for myself so rarely do it anymore (for myself I like a simple bouquet of the same flower). I did love it as work and I enjoyed putting this together for a friend tonight.

Shipping pottery long distance via ocean was really common, so there are A LOT of shipwrecks with, like, the equivalent of corellware. The museum had an exhibit of some of the ~50k bowls they salvaged from that ship and it's FASCINATING how modern they look

I really wish Biden had stuck to one term for several reasons but the media gunning him and his candidacy down over a natural process that he can’t control while giving his lying and criminal opponent a pass says a lot, none of it good, and not just about the media.
