Someone 'splain this to me. A gigantic bank of batteries--AAA-9volt--behind lock & key near the checkout at Walmart. On the other side of that display is an entire wall of batteries--AAA-9volt--just sitting there. No lock, no nothing. I STG this bullshit is ridic. BABY FOOD is behind a lock. WTF.

Ah yes. Hubby and I watching the Battle of Minas Tirith in Return of the King. All the trolls and orcs are marching and battering and trebucheting and screaming Orc obscenities. Hubby: Looks like a MAGA rally, doesn't it. Me: Yep.

Not gonna lie. Having migrated up here from the deep south, I have NO PROBLEM with the summers here in Minnesota. 10 a.m., 75 degrees and beautiful, here in St. Paul. I wish I had more fannish "meat" connections, though. Today is a perfect day for a cuppa outside. Anyone? Bueller?
