Fun Aurora fact: The reason folks are seeing red/purple aurora is that the current storm is strong enough that it's attracting malicious and majesterial spirits from deep mirror dimensions. The "regular" green Aurora is due to interaction with higher level beings from nearer realms.

When the NYC area libraries have messages on their websites that say it will take you longer to get eBooks / audios it’s about this: budget cuts mean the ratios for number of copies of a title purchased compared to the requests for a title had to be rejigged. 📚📜

Sometimes I feel a little guilty that I don't buy as many books as I used to. Then I see something like this on my Libby account, realize that by being part of this system, I helped get my library to buy 67 copies of an e-book (plus an unknown but presumably substantial number of print copies).
