I haven’t either. I mean, I bought stuff today but those old bay socks and old bay peanuts weren’t on sale for prime day, so.

I had a late meeting today too! Late because it’s on Oz time, the meetimg was with our Royal Australian Air Force colleagues. I really love working with them so much, it’s one of my favorite things about my job.

They’re so polite and will work to say “lieutenant” the way we say it (“loootenant”) but I’m like NO SAY LEFF-TENANT I WANT LEFF-TENANT 😂

I don't know that I'm a moving expert but I've moved over thirty five times in my life and it goes better when I do this! Bonus: it also gives me time to mull over where things should go so that in seven years I'm not ripping a closet apart wondering WHY on earth I kept *that* and put it...here?

He finally wised up and started coming before all the others, so i’d give him peanuts (they’re more expensive and i’m not feeding a dozen turkeys peanuts. They can have cheap sunflower seeds). He’s been eating well and his hobble is now almost completely gone. You can only tell if you look for it.

This is so wonderful. Thank you for taking care of him!

🪶 This shortbeard was a limpy lad when he first showed up around here. He had a very pronounced hobble and the older turkeys would pick on him and chase him away, he would always eat last. I made sure he always got some food and would keep the older ones off his back.
