Tesla's head of design was showing off this matte black Cybertruck at the Malibu Cars And Coffee over the weekend, which suggest he's... proud of it?

this is more a tire thing than a car thing, honestly. Good winter compound tires are black magic fuckery. there's a reason they're required after a certain date in Quebec, lol
I never ran snow tires on my car until I moved to Ottawa (never used them in Halifax or southern Ontario) and I am now a firm believer in them! They’re on the car now.
Snow tires made my too-powerful real wheel drive sedan into a very competent snow traveler. I lived north of Boston at the top of a very, very steep hill. Without snow tires, I couldn’t even go down the hill without crashing
And imagine all the maple seedlings and pine needles those cracks can hold before winter even shows up! That thing’ll be full of mulch before the snow even gets here.
See it was made to take on the detritus of nature, thereby changing over time into an organic work of art, much like your sunken ship becoming a reef of coral
Could happen. I remember M3 bumpers falling off, among other ongoing problems as I noted:
"So, perhaps don't drive a new M3 in the snow, wind, or rain. Check. Or in cold weather. Got it. (And maybe don't feed it after midnight, just to be safe.)"

A couple years ago at happy hour, a friend's coworker told me the most amazing & horrifying story of how his Tesla's steering wheel fell off while he was driving down the highway. They are maybe the shittiest vehicles being made anywhere on the planet.
