throughout the Trump immunity decision, the Court champions the idea of an unfettered, uninhibited President. the darkest part of the opinion isn’t that it paves the way for an authoritarian leader, it’s that it yearns for one

Big day for sunglasses "I trust God, not government" guys who got exactly what they wanted.

So if Biden orders the assassination of Trump as an “official act” is that technically legal now?

No, only Republican Presidents commit official acts.

Biden now has a free pass to replace supreme court justices with no consequences. It’s his turn.
I know it's a cliche at this point, but everything Trump touches, including America, dies.

While I dislike the decision, I hope Biden finds many ways for them to regret it.

Sounds to me like Biden now has the power to just dissolve the Supreme Court and ignore everything they say so long as he prefaces it with "In an official Presidential act, I am now...." Just like in the bribery and South Carolina cases, so long as you use the right words it's totally okay!

Should be noted this is massive hyperbole, but also it feels like...it's not?

Yeah, but like, Joe is old

What is Joe doing to confront the supreme court?

Topped with a dash of gaslighting with the dig at the dissent for scaremongering. They couldn’t be clearer—their kind have nothing to fear, no need to worry about anyone else.

Right then Joe has to go all out in term 2- pack the court
Why bother? If I understand the situation correctly, he can just order Seal Team 6 to kill the justices he doesn't like.

He needs to strap on a [redacted] and get Alito, Thomas, Kav and Gorsuch in a room and then [redacted] it up.

Or - and hear me out - the American president *is* an elected authoritarian; this is just a little ratification of the extant
