Played the lottery and also picked myself up a personal pizza. So, all things considered, not bad. Also, tomorrow's my birthday, which really made this fortune stand out.

I have to remember to play the lottery today because my wife got a fortune from a cookie that said "a financial windfall will happen on Wednesday" and we're trying to force that specific windfall. 😅🤞

I have felt so isolated since the downfall of Twitter. I couldn't figure out Mastodon to save my life, and there was no good spot where folks were congregating. Seeing so many folks I know over here has made me cry in a huge mix of emotions. I've missed y'all so much.

Just remembered wife and I were out to dinner with some family a few weeks back and someone ordered a Pepsi and the waiter said "I'm sorry, is Coke okay?" and it broke my brain for a few seconds.

I did the calculations for where I live and today, July 14th, is the day when the average summer heat peaks before starting back down. A temperature solstice, if you will. Might be different where you all live, but in northern hem prob only like ± week. We are officially now on our way to fall.

Someone in my town got married and ended up with 33 pairs of flip flops they're trying to now give away. Just a reminder: if you have a wedding, make sure the favors you're giving out is something you're okay being stuck with a whole bunch left over. Seen this go sideways too many times. 😅

Had a weird dream that overnight all the US states suddenly changed their borders, no idea why. Opened Google Maps and saw that North Jersey had been absorbed into New York, but MD and DE became part of New Jersey, etc. Didn't get the chance to see a full US map, sadly. That would've been fun.

For those of you content creator viewers, how long do you typically watch a stream?

Picked up some chili crisp. Heard a lot about it but no idea what I should put it on to try it out.

One of the cutest parts of going to the game last night was when we pulled into our parking spot and Little Ocho asked if he could play baseball after me, assuming the whole time that I would be playing in the game, and then I could let him play, too. Ahhh such innocence.

Cooled down a bit, we got some ice cream in a helmet, and the sunset is doing its thing. Doesn't hurt the Phils are winning 9-1 with a Trea Turner grand slam.

Celebrating Mrs Ocho's and my anniversary with a Phillies game! Currently sitting in the sun while it's 93° (RealFeel 103°) but, hey, not a bad view and Phillies are the hottest ticket to get right now. Pun intended.

Most of the reason, and this is something people should be made more aware, is our HVAC uses R-22 refrigerant which has been phased out in the EU and is being phased out in the US. So much that the supply of R-22 is dwindling and no longer produced or imported, so the price is skyrocketing.

Researching the cost of replacing our homes HVAC. Don't mind me, I'll be eating ramen for the next 10 years or so. 😭

Jumped into Secret World Legends for the anniversary event last night and the devs made my character a giant! Got to stomp around and hang out with the community a bit, quite a lot of fun.

Tonight, playing games and hanging out in Twitch I felt very... accepted. From all the people wanting to say hey and hang out. Felt good. Most nights are just okay, tonight felt special. I wish the same for all of you and I hope I make you feel accepted and special in our own way.
