Shortest game I ever saw in person came when Luke Hochevar, who never threw another quality start in his life, threw an 80-pitch complete game shutout for the Royals (when they were bad before they were good).
I can't quite remember exactly, but either the game Kerry Wood struck out 20 or the next game when Jon Lieber struck out nearly that many was, I believe, longer.
Now I'm just talking to myself in your replies (sorry!) but I was way crossed on the Lieber game.
That was in 2001, and it wasn't a high strikeout game, it was a one-hitter that Kerry followed up with a 14K one-hitter of his own the next day. Both of those games were under 2 hours!
I remember watching a Mets game there in 2003 that went a little over two hours. Mostly a pitchers' duel between Leiter and Wood, but the Cubs scored early and held on.
Ohhh these buildings are the ones across the street you can sit on the rooftops huh, duh. At first glance I thought they were seats in the stadium
The other buildings are just the city proper.
