And in Egypt, it's not a coup until Obama, Trump, Biden, or the 2028 President or one of her successors says it is, even when that does happen. (US law banned military aid to countries with coups, but Obama didn't want to stop, even though Gen Al-Sisi overthrow elected Muslim Brotherhood guy Morsi.)

I'm certainly not a Bolivia expert. I've just been hearing about multiple disturbing political developments in northern SA lately. Milei, Ecuador, El Salvador, ... the political assassinations in Mexico. And of course there's Haiti. I probably should not conflate them.
