As they saw fit to give me an Honorary Doctorate, I have decided that from now on I will present as a Grinnell Alumni. I feel so much better. Supposed to be doing work on this flight but as the person immediately to my right is watching DUNE with the screen pointed at me I guess I won't be. He turned it off and started doing work himself. So i guess I just have to watch it myself. And, he turned it back on. Rescuing the harvester crew. Oh no! Dr Yuen has betrayed the Atreides! hate it when that happens. watched several movies on airplanes that way, :-) Proximity is the mind killer. I just watched Part II for the first time last night and enjoyed it. I just do not understand people able to tune out moving pictures. And like most graduates from an Iowa college it looks like you are clearing out as fast as possible... congrats! are you prepared for endless “cornell?” “GRINNell” “CORNell?” I enjoyed your commencement speech, thanks for providing a link!

Now when they ask if there is a doctor on the plane you have to volunteer. With greatness comes cost…🤣 Does that make you "the Honorable Peter Sagal"? Or is English screwy? When I was there the students referred to the school logo as the mating slugs. I see that the two slugs have since reproduced to become four. And with the hat nearby you won't need to remember how to spell it. As a PhD, now you know that you are an alumnus. You were just teasing us by saying you were an alumni. Yes, but under what banner will go into the Hall of Fame? Wow! Didn’t know the star of WWDTM is on Bluesky. And congrats on your degree.

Summoning circles and other ritual magic usually call for a nice robe. You can do a lot of shoplifting in those robes I mean, strolling to the coffee shop would count for me, but I may tend a little too close to this… You’ve just upped your “playing doctor” game considerably. Nice! Now that you have an honorary degree, you can spend the next 20 years paying back your honorary student loans! Will Bill now introduce you as Dr. Peter Sagal?
