When people pronounce it “miss-CHEE-vee-us” I get it. You’re not wrong, the word *should* be spelled to reflect that pronunciation, but the word itself is being mischievous. Everyone wins
I like to pronounce it "mish-eye-vous", coupled with a mock-French accent.
