We knew Biden was old. We've done been known it. I disbelieve that he's lost his marbles because we've had evidence to the contrary. He's older and slower but he's lucid. His decisions are bad, but they're clear-sighted. But trying to get him to quit has been great for headlines, I guess.

The fact that the press is more interested in hounding Biden than a candidate with evidence of CHILD SEXUAL ASSAULT says it all, because in any other circumstance they wouldn't shut up about it. Dr. Disrespect talked dirty to a minor and people are STILL talking about it AND HE'S JUST A YOUTUBER.

It goes deeper than that, especially for the Democratic Governors: If Biden drops out and Harris takes over, then she could run again in 2028 and every Democrat hoping to be President has to wait in line. That's why Congress wants Biden out and the governors want Biden in.

Not to mention that the same people saying such not only excuse Donnie's fuckups, but they seem not to like Kamala Harris and want to push her out (which, like...okay, being a former prosecutor is very bad, but that's not *their* reason; they just don't want a woman, especially not one of color).

Like if they were pushing *both* stories this hard, I could almost see it because hey, "both sides," right? But they're just snoozing on the Epstein evidence. We're all watching it in real time. That's deliberate.

Also, I’ve got no problems with Harris, but I don’t trust this country to hold its misogynistic streak down long enough to elect her. 2016 told me that America would rather have the worst man in its history as president than any woman.

I hate both Biden and Kamala but it confuses the fuck out of me how anyone think him stepping down is better than him just shaping up, or that they can throw anyone else in. Like if this was last year? Maybe. Not anymore. And the main benefit would just be signaling they recognize they fucked up.

I am 90% sure the democrats questioning him right now are basically doing the equivalent of the "uncommitted" vote where they are trying to pressure him/his administration to actually defend democracy. If he did a ton of people would probably hold their nose and vote who won't if this keeps up!
