Can't shake how alarming this is. Not the attack, which is bad enough. Fox's gleeful airing of it. That no one at Fox seem to realize out how fucked up it is. The idea that people fleeing desperate circumstances (and Venezuela, of all places) deserve violence. It's just so goddamned bleak.

No, you don't. First, if you're not an over-the-air radio or TV station you don't have to apply for anything. Second, even if you are, what you're applying for is a license to transmit on a specific frequency. There's no such thing as a license for content.

Cable channels don’t broadcast. And no, you don’t need a license to broadcast news. Local broadcast stations need a license for the scarce spectrum. No such change ever happened. Did you join Bluesky just to troll stupid myths? Get a better hobby.
