Reading Deborah Cameron's new book on sexism & language. She says early online Oxford Dictionary omits "cunt" but not "bitch. She thinks editors were squeamish re offending readers but I wonder if it's because in NAmEng "cunt" is clearly fem while in BrEng it can be masc or fem. Thoughts?
