Ironically, the theory in the article is that since fishing stocks have improved, orcas don't have to spend so much energy hunting, and have 'free time' to get bored and play.

Der Artikel ist mir zu primitiv & "selbstbewusst" und wenig wissenschaftlich geschrieben. "Wir wissen jetzt, warum sie das tun: Langeweile und Zerstörungswut von Jugendlichen!" Ein Motiv, dass Konserven in den Kram passt und letztlich harte Gegenmaßnahmen "rechtfertigt".
