literally insane to me that people continue to accuse me of "trolling by pretending to care about social justice issues because i'm a con artist, grifter and troll" talking points manufactured by actual fascists to discredit my work in the last round

reporters think that bullying, endangering, aggressive, manipulative behavior is fine because that's just "reporting" and "journalism" . okay, call it whatever tf you want but that doesn't mean it isn't: bullying, endangering, aggressive and manipulative

people outside of tech are actually pretty credulous when i tell them about my experiences in the industry because they are like "tech people are fucking trashhh". like only in the fash wormhole is any of this okay to do to people or is this normal behavior

what i went through in the last bubble was so fucking insane that when i tell people about it now who don't know about this shit i just can't even explain it . it was way too much. trial by fire sure but i was in my 20s and way more naive and it just tore thru me. did not have the skills

the idea that i was or am "trolling masquerading as concern about injustice" ... was literally manufactured by fascists (who were PayPal Mafia ops) at Breitbart.

You are the only person I’ve ever profiled who I regretting giving the benefit of the doubt and became convinced far too late and after that profile ran that your grift was just trolling masquerading as concern about injustice. Won’t happen again though!

i was trying to protect my family from exposure to fascist gangs and spiers didn't give a shit when she was covering me for some stupid fucking blog, and has spun the narrative that i "didn't understand journalism". i understood journalism just fine it was HER lack of consideration for my SAFETY

Any journalist who objects to making sure a subject understands the rules are no better than unethical cops taking advantage of ignorant arrestees.

When I’ve profiled people who’ve never been profiled before I’ve explained off the record, on etc to them before we start. Lotta old school people object to that. And sometimes I get berated by a subject who thinks I’m being condescending (hello, Shanley Kane, lol)

just to be clear that the backlash against social justice in tech is, in fact, about purging from the industry... last year funding to Black-founded startups fell 71% $170.6 billion was invested last year, with black founders getting only $705 million, 0.5% of total funding

has to be done. crypto is attack on sovereignty. "The Nigerian government has banned access to prominent cryptocurrency exchanges including Binance and Coinbase in a move aimed at stabilizing the Naira." and yes, it means sitting out on money from the rising fascist VC state.
