on the topic of de-googling, i stumbled across ecosia which is a not-for-profit focused on planting trees. far as i can tell this isn't greenwashing at all since they publish their financial data down to the dollar and it looks legit. this is very cool!!!! i am gonna try it out. hope it's good :)

i've been meaning to de-google somewhat for a hot minute, but between inertia and lack of time, it's not been a priority. resting at home is a great time to tinker! not gonna delete everything google but less eggs in one basket is nice. also been a nice opportunity to declutter my storage too. yay!

So to confirm, now we have near-final numbers: Every time 19 Tory MPs get a bit grumpy this parliament and stick their letters into the 1922 Committee... ...it'll automatically trigger a leadership contest.

Worth remembering, for the next five years, that the Tory party rules ASSUME they'll have a large number of sitting MPs. e.g. to automatically start a leadership context only 15% of tory MPs have to put in letters. 15% of 130ish seats is... not a lot.
