It’s wild because you know a majority of those people are vehemently anti-Semitic and claim Jews run the world yet their hatred of brown skinned folks is vastly greater. The cognitive dissonance is real.
The idea of Jews = smart, manipulative and POC = lazy, dangerous, and antisemitism as a larger view of Jews using the state to manipulating POC against whites seems to really resonate with RW history of the last century. Replace "Jews" with liberals, etc. and it clicks into place scarily.
But the existence of Israel means they have someplace they can send the Jews so they don’t have to face them nearby. Without European antisemites, the founders of Israel would have had a harder time justifying the partition of British Palestine into Arab and Jewish states.
They’re clinging to their shared hatred in attempt to fill the void that’s eating them from the inside out. I’m sad for them even as I fear and disdain them.
